Essential Duties:

Assessment and Evaluation:
• Comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
• Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, adaptive behavior assessments
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
• Determine eligibility for special education services in accordance with IDEA, Chapter 14
• Develop recommendations for educational programming, accommodations, interventions

Consultation and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, families, related service providers
• Serve as consultant on instructional practices, behavior management, interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, problem-solving teams, Student Assistance Program (SAP)
• Support MTSS and RTI frameworks
• Facilitate communication among school personnel, parents, community agencies

Student Support Services:
• Individual and group counseling
• Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies
• Conduct risk assessments and support crisis intervention
• Promote social-emotional learning and student wellness

Special Education Compliance:
• Attend IEP meetings, reevaluation conferences, manifestation determination meetings
• Ensure timely completion of evaluations and required documentation
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Monitor student progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records

Professional Leadership:
• Provide professional development to faculty and staff
• Remain current on school psychology developments, educational research, legal requirements
• Contribute to district initiatives on student achievement, school climate, mental health

Qualifications:
• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
• Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, Chapter 14, Chapter 15
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Required Clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Federal Criminal History Record (FBI Fingerprint Clearance)
• Act 168 Employment History Review
