Contract: Permanent, Part-time (23.25 hours per week)
Salary: £57,528 – £64,750 per annum, pro rata

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Parent Infant Mental Health Service (PIMH) in HMR. As a highly specialist clinical psychologist/psychotherapist you will be integral to the development of the service, helping to shape the future alongside an experienced and passionate team.

Main Duties:
• Delivery of Under 2s clinical psychology/psychotherapy service within CAMHS parameters
• Specialist psychological assessment for Under 2s experiencing severe, highly complex mental health difficulties
• Formulate and implement plans for therapeutic intervention from referral
• Develop specialist provision for parents of infants using evidence-based models
• Provide specialist expertise through advice and consultation to PIMH service and network colleagues
• Hold and work own caseload within the PIMH service
• Participate in weekly presentation, referral, CPD and business meetings
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary and multi-agency meetings
• Participate in audit and evaluation of clinical work and the service
• Exercise autonomous professional responsibility based on HCPC Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics

Education (Essential):
• Doctorate level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, AND eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychology Status & HCPC registered
• OR Doctorate level qualification as a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist as recognised by the Association of Child Psychotherapists, AND full membership of ACP

Desirable:
• Parent-Infant Psychotherapy Training
• Additional training in relevant evidence-based Parent-Infant interventions

Experience (Essential):
• Experience working with patient groups presenting high levels of complexity, including infants, young children and families
• Experience in psychotherapy/psychological assessment and therapeutic work with infants and young children and their families
• Experience consulting with other professionals in Health, Education, Social Services and Local Authority
• Experience representing child clinical psychology within multidisciplinary and multi-agency treatment
