Contract: Permanent, Full-time/Part-time/Flexible (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £39,959 – £48,117 per annum, pro rata

Seeking staff with a professional registration (Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy) to work within a dynamic CAMHS Crisis Team. Looking for individuals passionate about working with children and young people and working innovatively across pathways to ensure young people get the right care, from the right clinician/team, at the right time and in the right place.

Main Duties:
• Offer assessment, support, signposting and brief therapeutic intervention to young people requiring crisis support
• Work within CYP crisis teams including Home Treatment, Rapid Response and Enhanced Rapid Response – paediatric liaison
• Keep young people out of hospital and care for them in the community
• Support hospital discharge in the safest and quickest way possible with right community resources to prevent readmission

The Acute Care Pathway Service Line is made up of 6 diverse teams: Rapid Response Teams, Home Based Treatment Teams, Greater Manchester Assessment Centre, Enhanced Rapid Response Paediatric Liaison Teams, Inpatient CAMHS, and Community Eating Disorder Teams.

Essential Criteria:
• Relevant core professional qualification in mental health (nursing, social work or occupational therapy)
• Current professional registration and continued professional development
• Educated to first degree level
• Significant experience in community or inpatient settings
• Experience of assessment, formulation and managing complex cases and risk
• Detailed knowledge of child safeguarding procedures
• Sound assessment skills and ability to articulate outcomes
• Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively as part of a team
