Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
Salary: £32,073 – £39,043 per annum

#Thrive is a dynamic, front-door service providing early emotional wellbeing support to children, young people and families across Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale (HMR). Part of a whole-system approach that puts access, prevention, and community connection at the heart of what we do.

Main Duties:
• Deliver evidence-based guided self-help for children and young people with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties
• Support young people and families through 1:1 sessions, group work, and drop-in conversations
• Co-deliver workshops and psychoeducation in various settings including #Thrive and community settings
• Work collaboratively with professionals across education, health, social care, and voluntary services
• Promote mental health literacy and empower young people to build resilience and self-management skills
• Be part of a compassionate, skilled multi-disciplinary team focused on accessible, trauma-informed care

Essential Criteria:
• Successful completion of the NHSE (or equivalent) commissioned Children's Wellbeing Practitioner course (Post Graduate Certificate or undergraduate course)
• Registered with BABCP or BPS as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner
• Experience of working as a psychological wellbeing practitioner/graduate mental health worker in a primary care setting
• Experience of routine outcome monitoring
• Experience of multi-agency working
• Knowledge of child psychology and development
• Understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
• Knowledge of child protection issues, safeguarding and other relevant legislation
• Ability to manage own caseload and time
• Ability to build good rapport with children, young people and parents/carers
