Jaime Napier's Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate to conduct globally-conscious research on gender-related attitudes, gender stereotypes, and/or attitudes and beliefs about sexual orientation. Terms of employment include competitive salary and benefits.

Research in the lab focuses on the social and psychological antecedents and consequences of inequality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research on gender and sexual orientation.

Potential projects include:
• Understanding backlash against gender equality and queer rights
• Understanding the content and structure of gender stereotypes and their consequences
• Examining patterns of gender-related attitudes over time and cross-nationally

The position entails involvement in all stages of research, including study design, data collection, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Requirements:
• PhD in social psychology or a closely related field
• No more than five years post receipt of the PhD
• Competent in research design and advanced statistical analyses
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Preference given to candidates passionate about gender-related issues with their own research agenda
