UTMB is seeking a Psychometrist (Psychology Technician) to join the Adult Neuropsychology Division of the Neurology Department. The division offers assessment and consultation to evaluate emotional and cognitive functioning in patients with known or suspected brain dysfunction.

Duties:
• Administer and score various types of psychological, neuropsychological, and behavioral assessment instruments
• Work under the supervising neuropsychologist in determining mental health, functional behavior, or personality status of patients
• Maintain adequate levels of patient interest, motivation and effort while assuring patient comfort and safety

Position Requirements:
• Master's degree or bachelor's degree in psychology, clinical psychology or counseling psychology
• Certification through the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP) preferred
• Clinical and/or research experience is strongly preferred
