REQUIREMENTS:
- Ph.D. in clinical psychology or closely related field by August 31, 2027
- Clear evidence of excellence in research and teaching
- Developmental focus (child, adolescent, or family systems)
- Emphasis on Black/African American communities, including Black immigrant communities in the U.S.
- Preference for licensed or license-eligible applicants with doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology or related licensable fields (e.g., Counseling, School Psychology)

PREFERRED:
- Ability to teach at least one graduate-level assessment course

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach and mentor students in undergraduate psychology major and clinical psychology doctoral program
- 2-2 teaching load (undergraduate and graduate classes)
- Graduate teaching may include: Child Therapy, Foundations of Social Justice in Clinical Psychology, Family Therapy, Graduate Research Methods
- Undergraduate teaching may include: Infancy and Childhood Development, Adolescence, Psychology and the Black Experience, The Family and the Child, Psychology and Social Justice
- Provide research mentoring and advising to undergraduate and doctoral students
- Contribute to service for program, department, university, and Greater Boston communities

Clinical psychology doctoral program uses a scientist-practitioner-activist training model. UMass Boston is the third most diverse university in the country with 60%+ of undergraduates from minoritized communities and more than half first-generation college students.
