REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related field by time of appointment
- CA licensed or license-eligible as psychologist, MFT, or LPCC
- Graduate coursework or research qualifying to teach clinical/counseling psychology courses
- One class teaching as instructor of record or TA with instructional role
- Research program relevant to clinical/counseling psychology or pedagogy
- English language proficiency

PREFERRED:
- Expertise in Child, Family, or Couples Therapy
- Additional teaching experience with evaluations
- Active research program with student involvement
- Experience working as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach courses including abnormal psychology, theories of counseling, basic counseling skills, treatment of children/families/couples, research methods
- Teach in clinical MS program preparing students for MFT licensure
- Advise students on career and academic topics
- Supervise student research activities
- Establish line of research through publication and presentation
- Serve department, college, and university
