REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD at time of application (proof of successfully defended doctoral dissertation required)
- Distinguished research corresponding to programmatic outline of Transformation Lab
- PhD completed no later than 3 years before start date
- All documents in English or certified English translations

RESEARCH STREAMS:
1. Epistemologies of Transformation - How transformation can be known, conceptualized, narrated, and enacted
2. Disruption and Transformation - Disruptiveness as central feature of contemporary societies
3. Scales and Temporalities of Transformation - Scalar and temporal frames of transformation

WHAT IS OFFERED:
- Up to 7 postdoctoral fellowships for up to 24 months
- Develop high-quality grant proposal for DFG, ERC, Volkswagen Foundation or other funders
- Assistance throughout grant-writing process
- Interdisciplinary and international exchange with resident researchers
- Work spaces in Leuphana Central Building
- One fellowship reserved for applicant based at university in Scotland (Lower Saxony-Scotland partnership)
- Candidates with disabilities considered preferentially

ABOUT THE LAB:
Leuphana Transformation Lab hosts interdisciplinary network including five Key Subject Areas: climate futures in digital cultures, democratic resilience, organizing in times of crisis, regenerative society, companies as drivers of sustainability, and psychology of transformation. 20+ professors, 50+ PhD students and postdocs.
