REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Psychology or closely related discipline at time of appointment
- Substantial record of publication in top I/O journals like Personnel Psychology and Journal of Applied Psychology
- Graduated from distinguished I/O program
- Evidence of research productivity
- Strong potential for securing external research funding (preferred)
- Evidence of effective teaching (preferred)
- Experience mentoring students in research (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain active, high-quality, fundable research program
- Direct graduate student research
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses
- Teaching load 1-2 courses each semester for highly active researcher
- Summer teaching with additional compensation
- Participate in departmental, college, and university service
ENDOWED CHAIR:
The Byham Chair is a five-year renewable endowed position with additional salary and spending account for research, travel, and program enhancement activities.

Carnegie Foundation R1 doctoral institution. Department serves 1,400+ undergraduate and 60 graduate students. Resources include infrastructure for grant procurement, grant mentoring, research lab space, start-up funds, graduate student support.
