REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in psychology, epidemiology, public health, or related field
- Interest in suicide prevention and drug overdose prevention
- Quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Commitment to community-based participatory research
- Strong scientific writing skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and support quantitative and qualitative analyses of study data
- Epidemiological analyses of mortality and health services data
- Analyses of intervention trial data
- Prepare first-authored manuscripts, conference presentations, reports
- Contribute to design and coordination of ongoing studies
- Develop independent line of research
- Apply for NIH F32/K awards and foundation grants
- Supervise and mentor research assistants and student trainees

ABOUT THE LAB:
Sentinel Lab directed by Dr. Alison Athey. Housed within Sara and Curt Moll Institute for Mental Health and Well-Being. Two aims: (1) prevent suicide and drug overdose deaths, (2) support caregivers to people with life-threatening behaviors and illnesses.
