REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Science, Public Health, or related field by start date
- Within five years from receipt of doctoral degree
- Demonstrated research experience in alcohol, cannabis, substance use, or related area
PREFERRED:
- Experience with intensive longitudinal, EMA, daily diary data
- Record of peer-reviewed publications
- Experience developing NIH or other grant proposals
- Interest in developing independent, externally funded research program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, clean, and harmonize research data
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses
- Collaborate with PI and research team
- Prepare manuscripts, conference presentations, reports
- Develop research protocols and analytic plans
- Maintain research documentation
- Lead first-author publications
- Mentor graduate students and research staff
- Develop NIH grant proposals (K-level and R-level)
ABOUT THE LAB:
DRAMA Lab led by Dr. Jack Waddell. Focuses on understanding when, why, and how alcohol and cannabis use unfold in daily life. Research spans alcohol use, cannabis use, co-use, substance use disorders, affect, impulsivity, sleep, social context, and inhibitory control.
