REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Psychology or related field (Neuroscience, Education, Sociology) expected by January 1, 2027
- Interest in studying adolescent development and/or wellbeing
- Track record of research on psychopathology in children and adolescents
- Interest in complex social processes
- Ability to effectively manage research team
- Experience with advanced quantitative methods preferred (computational modeling, machine learning, fMRI analysis)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead independent research
- Analyze existing behavioral and neuroimaging data
- Manage/preprocess/analyze behavioral and neuroimaging data
- Collect new data (behavioral task, fMRI, digital phenotyping, wearables)
- Supervise and mentor lab members
- Grant writing
- Disseminate results via conferences, talks, first-author manuscripts
ABOUT THE LAB:
Led by Dr. Alexandra Rodman. Research examines social lives of teens, social behavior, social information processing, and risk/resilience to mental health problems. Located in new ISEC building with neuroimaging center. Part of Institute for Cognitive and Brain Health.
