Lead Therapist - Sanctuary Lodge

EMPLOYER: UK Addiction Treatment Centres (UKAT)

LOCATION: Halstead, Essex, UK (Sanctuary Lodge)

TYPE: Full-Time (40 hrs/week, 5 days on rota including weekends)

SALARY: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum

REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified to minimum level 6 and registered member (BACP or NCPS)
- Substantial experience in addiction, mental health, or residential treatment settings
- Proven experience in senior, lead, or supervisory therapy role
- Strong understanding of group facilitation, trauma-informed practice, and recovery models
- Confident leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of therapy team
- Deliver and oversee group and one-to-one therapy
- Support development, supervision, and performance of therapists
- Contribute to treatment planning, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Ensure therapy delivery aligns with regulatory, ethical, and organisational standards
- Promote safe, therapeutic, recovery-focused environment
- Support continuous improvement through audits, feedback, and service development
