Abstract

University admission test rankings are related to later student performance. Austria faces amendments to psychotherapy law introducing a polyvalent bachelors program in psychology. This study used objective administrative data from 1323 bachelor psychology students. Analyses showed low to moderate correlations between admission exam rankings and later performance. Based on graduation rates, results suggest 376 to 470 students may be admitted from the current 230 places.
